Nov 18, 2008 - ASTD DC Metro Chapter Performance Consulting SIG Meeting
The ASTD DC Metro Chapter Performance Consulting SIG's 4th quarter meeting will be Nov. 18th at the Fairfax City Regional Library at 10360 North Street in Fairfax City, in the evening.  The presenters will be Cynthia Denton-Ade and Dave Ferguson. Their session title and description is: New E-Learning Technologies. New technology is redefining learning. As learners, we select the technology that works for us and modify it according to our interests. And we use it to connect and to collaborate in ways that were impossible just a few years ago. Come see and experience feedreaders, wikis, social bookmarking, and more. Cynthia is principal consultant for CDA Systems with over 25 years of experience (plus some of you may remember her from the outstanding session she did for us 5 years ago on job aids). Dave Ferguson is a former ISPI Potomac Chapter President, 18 years with GE as a performance consultant and now has his own practice. Feel free to bring your laptops--the library has WiFi and Cynthia and Dave will be using the internet for part of this presentation. While there is no fee to attend, we recommend a $5 donation to cover costs for materials and snacks.
